Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin seeds (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups water or unsweetened coconut water
- Juice from 1/2 lemon
Instructions
- Add all your healthy seeds for bariatric patients to a glass jar or bottle
- Pour in your liquid of choice – water works perfectly fine, but unsweetened coconut water adds a subtle sweetness and extra electrolytes
- Add the fresh lemon juice for flavor and nutrient absorption
- Stir or shake vigorously to distribute all seeds throughout the liquid
- Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the chia flax seed combination to absorb the liquid and create that satisfying gel-like texture
- Give it another good shake before drinking to redistribute everything evenly
