Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake Easy Recipe

Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake is hands down one of the best things I’ve made in a long time and trust me, I don’t say that lightly.

I first made these little cheesecake cups on a Friday afternoon when the kids were home and everyone was craving something sweet after dinner. I didn’t want to bake, I didn’t want to spend an hour in the kitchen, and I really didn’t want to derail all the good eating I’d done that week. So I started pulling things out of the fridge Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, my vanilla protein powder and this recipe came together almost by accident.

Henry took one bite and looked at me like I’d pulled off some kind of magic trick. Isabella and Emma asked if they could have seconds. Noah, bless him, just quietly grabbed another one without saying a word. That’s usually the highest compliment.

These are rich, creamy, high protein dessert cups that taste completely indulgent but are actually pretty smart nutrition-wise. Each one clocks in at 267 calories with 9.2 grams of protein not bad for something that tastes like a real cheesecake. If you’re into no bake protein cheesecake recipes, this one is going to become a regular in your house too.

You only need about 10 minutes of actual hands-on time, and then the fridge does the rest of the work. I love that. You can also check out my gelatin diet recipe with protein if you’re looking for more high-protein, low-effort treat ideas.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • No oven required just a food processor, a bowl, and a fridge
  • Ready to eat in 3-4 hours, or just set overnight for an even firmer texture
  • Made with Greek yogurt and light cream cheese so it feels lighter than a traditional cheesecake
  • The vanilla whey protein boosts the protein without making it taste powdery
  • Kid-approved Isabella, Emma, and Noah all went back for more
  • Works great as Oreo cheesecake cups individual servings make it easy to portion
  • Can be prepped ahead for the week, which I honestly love for busy nights

Ingredients For This Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake

For the biscuit base:

  • 6 Oreo biscuits creme filling removed
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp coconut oil melted

For the filling:

  • 150g 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 180g light cream cheese
  • 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 3 Oreo biscuits broken up by hand

Substitution notes:

  • No food processor? No problem put the Oreos in a zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin. It works just as well.
  • Vanilla whey is definitely the best option here, but cookies and cream or chocolate protein powder can also work nicely with the Oreo flavor.
  • If you want a dairy-free version, a thick coconut yogurt and dairy-free cream cheese can sub in for the filling just note the texture will be slightly softer.
  • Maple syrup can replace the honey if that’s what you have on hand.

How To Make Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake

Step 1: Make The Oreo Base

Add the 6 Oreo biscuits (filling removed), honey, and melted coconut oil to a food processor. Blitz everything until you get fine, even crumbs. You want the mixture to feel a little damp that’s what helps it press into a firm base.

If you don’t have a food processor, place the biscuits in a sealed bag and use a rolling pin to crush them down. Then mix in the honey and coconut oil by hand.

Step 2: Make The Cheesecake Filling

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, light cream cheese, vanilla whey protein, honey, and plain flour. Mix until everything is fully smooth and combined.

(This step goes faster with a hand mixer, but a sturdy spoon or spatula works fine too.)

Once the base mixture is smooth, add in your 3 broken Oreo pieces and fold them in gently. You want some chunky bits in there that’s what gives every bite a little crunch.

Step 3: Assemble The Cheesecake Cups

Spoon the Oreo crumb mixture into the bottom of your cheesecake mould or any round container you’re using. Press it down firmly to create a flat, even base layer.

Add 2-3 tablespoons of the cheesecake filling on top. Repeat this process until you’ve used all the filling you should end up with 4 individual portions.

Step 4: Refrigerate Until Set

Cover the cups and refrigerate for 3–4 hours minimum. Overnight is even better if you have the time the filling gets firmer and the flavors come together even more.

Step 5: Finish And Serve

Once set, dust the tops with a little finely blended Oreo crumb for that finished look. Add half an Oreo on top of each cup as a garnish if you like it’s optional, but it makes them look amazing and the kids always ask for it.

How To Store Your Cheesecake Cups

Keep them covered in the fridge for up to 3 days. I like to store mine in individual small containers so they’re easy to grab throughout the week. Don’t freeze these the cream cheese and yogurt filling can get grainy and watery once thawed, which changes the texture you worked to get.

They’re honestly even better on day two once everything has had time to settle in the fridge.

Variations To Try With This Recipe

Want to play around with this a little? Here are a few ideas that work really well:

  • Chocolate version use chocolate protein powder and swap the honey in the base for a little peanut butter
  • Strawberry layer add a thin layer of fresh sliced strawberries between the base and the filling before refrigerating
  • Mini versions use a cupcake tin lined with liners for perfect bite-sized cheesecake cups, great for parties
  • Double Oreo crunch add a few extra crushed Oreo pieces to the filling for even more cookie texture
  • No protein powder version if you want to skip the protein powder, just add 2 extra tablespoons of cream cheese to keep the filling thick

One thing to avoid: don’t skip the flour in the filling. It might seem like an odd ingredient in a no-bake recipe, but it helps bind everything and keeps the filling from being too soft once it sets.

FAQs About Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake

Can I Make Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake Ahead Of Time?

Yes, and actually this is one of the best reasons to make it. These cheesecake cups are a fantastic make-ahead dessert. Chill them for at least 3 to 4 hours, or better yet, leave them in the fridge overnight for a firmer, creamier texture. I usually make a batch on Sunday and we have dessert sorted for a few days in the week.

Can I Use A Different Protein Powder For This Cheesecake?

Yes, you can. Vanilla whey works best because it blends smoothly into the cream cheese filling without any strong or artificial taste. That said, cookies and cream protein powder is a natural fit here, and chocolate protein powder also pairs well with the Oreo flavor. Just make sure whatever you use isn’t overly sweet, or the filling can end up a little too much.

How Long Does Oreo Protein Cheesecake No-Bake Last In The Fridge?

Kept covered, these will last up to 3 days in the fridge. The texture and taste are best within the first 2 days. After that, the base can start to soften a little as it absorbs moisture from the filling still tasty, just a bit less structured.

Can I Make This Recipe Without A Food Processor?

Absolutely. Place your Oreo biscuits in a sealed zip-lock bag and crush them with a rolling pin until you get fine, even crumbs. Then mix in the honey and melted coconut oil by hand until the crumbs feel damp and hold together when pressed. It takes a little more elbow grease, but it works perfectl

A Few Final Words From Iris
