Description
There’s something magical about a dish that comes together in under 20 minutes but tastes like you’ve been cooking all day. This incredible fusion of tender steak, silky noodles, and the most amazing garlic butter sauce will have your family asking for seconds.

- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced thin against the grain
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Slice steak against the grain into thin strips and have all ingredients prepped and ready
- Cook rice noodles according to package directions (3-4 minutes in boiling water), drain well and set aside
- Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon butter
- When butter foams, add sliced steak in single layer and sear 2-3 minutes per side until brown edges form
- Remove steak and set aside
- Reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter to same pan
- Add minced garlic and cook 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
- Add cooked noodles to skillet and toss to coat completely in garlic butter sauce
- Return steak to pan for 1 minute to warm through
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving
Notes
Cut steak against the grain for maximum tenderness. Have all ingredients prepped before cooking since everything happens quickly. Rice noodles can be substituted with regular spaghetti if needed.
